Correct sagging upper eyelids and bags below the eyes.

Side Effects

Temporary discomfort, tightness of lids, swelling and bruising.

Temporary dryness or excess of tears, burning, itching of eyes.  

Temporary blurred or double visionSensitivity to light for first few weeks 

Risks

Infection, bleeding.

Dry eyes, formation of white heads.

Slight asymmetry in healing or scarring.

Difficulty in closing eyes completely, pulling down the lower lids and blindness are rare complications.  

Recovery

READING AND WATCHING TV: 2 or 3 days 

BACK TO WORK: 7 to 10 days. CONTACT LENSES: 3 weeks or more.

MORE ARDUOUS ACTIVITIES, ALCOHOL: about 3 weeks.

FINAL LOOK: 3 to 4 weeks. 

Results

10 to 15 years. Sometimes permanent
